Oklahoma Weather

I had a weekend trip planned for this weekend, but as usual, Oklahoma's always changing weather has put a halt on the trip for now.
I was planning on going to Eastern Oklahoma and driving the Talimena Scenic Drive from Talihina, OK to Mena, AR. The Talimena Scenic drive is the only National Scenic Byway in Oklahoma. Thought it would be a nice, quiet and relaxing day, although a long day to get there. But, with the cold, wet weather that moved into the state today, I think I am going to have to reschedule.
I think I am going to head south instead. To the Hackberry Flat Wetlands, south of Frederick, OK. This is another one of the places in Oklahoma that I have driven past too many times to count, but never stopped. I got a new telephoto lens for my camera, so I think I will go try it out down there and see if I can get some nice wildlife photos.
