PS3 Backwards Compatibiliy

I have been getting a lot of questions from PS3 owners wondering why they can't play PS2 games on their newer PS3 Systems.
The answer is they stopped supporting PS2 Game disks on all PS3's that have come out after August 2007. My guess is that is about the same time they started thinking about having PS2 games in the Sony Store for purchase.
Here are the Model #'s of PS3 systems that do have PS2 emulation.
20 GB - CECHBxx
60 GB - CECHAxx
60 GB - CECHCxx
80 GB - CECHExx
You can find your model number on the back of your PS3.
